Description

Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Madge Huffer Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be enrolled full time, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and participate in speech or theatre activities.

Helen Krey Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Krey Special Purpose Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and have previously participated in intercollegiate athletics. Applicant must no longer be eligible for intercollegiate sports but desire to return to school and/or complete studies.

Lions Club, Redlands Scholarship

Description

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a full-time student, and be a resident of Mesa County, Colo.. Recipient must attend a Redlands Lions Club meeting in the academic year they receive the scholarship.

Lions Club, Grand Junction Nontraditional Student Award

Description

Applicant must be enrolled full time, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be degree-seeking, be age 25 or over, have been a Mesa County, Colo., resident for at least five years, and demonstrate financial need.

Lions Club, Orchard Mesa Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a full-time student, a Mesa County, CO resident, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Ferdinand Torres Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be legally blind, be enrolled full time, and demonstrate financial need. Selection is based upon transcripts, recommendation, and personal statement. Preference is given to residents of the New York City metropolitan area and new immigrants.

ACRES Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a certified teacher employed (or have been employed) by a rural school district, be working with students with disabilities or be "retooling" for work in special education, be pursuing a goal of increasing skills in special education, and be a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon application, essay, and letters of reference.

Undergraduate Scholarship

Description

Applicant must submit slide portfolio and letters of support.

Alberta E. Crowe Star of Tomorrow Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a member of USBC and a woman age 21 or under. No phone calls.
