King Olav V Norwegian-American Heritage Fund

Description

Applicant must be an American, 18 years of age or older, with a plan of studies to focus on exploring his/her interest in Norwegian heritage or in modern Norway at an institution of higher learning. Applicant may also be a Norwegian, 18 years of age or older, who desires to further their studies in North American culture at an institution of higher learning. Selection is based upon academic potential, financial need, statement of educational and career goals, benefit to Sons of Norway and wider Norwegian/American community, involvement in school and community activities, and work experiences. Essay, three letters of recommendation, and official copy of latest high school or college grade transcript are required.

Presidential Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado with a minimum admission index between 129 and 136.

Temple Scholars Award

Description

Applicant must be in the top fifth of secondary school class or have a minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1200 or ACT equivalent.

University of Nevada at Reno General Scholarship

Description

Selection based upon academic merit.

Undergraduate Scholarship

Description

Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need.

Regional Scholarship

Description

Applicant must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of one of the following areas in Virginia: Accomack, Chesapeake, Hampton, Isle of Wight, Newport News, Northampton, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Surry, Southampton, Virginia Beach.

Description

Preference is given to applicant planning to major in engineering and international studies.

Carolina Scholars Award

Description

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident and demonstrate extraordinary academic achievement, leadership, and character.

Carolina Scholars Finalist Award

Description

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident and demonstrate extraordinary academic achievement, leadership, and character.

Trustees' Endowment Scholarship

Description

Selection is based upon extraordinary academic achievement. Consideration is also given to needy and minority students who meet the academic requirement.

Valedictorian Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident or a graduate of a South Carolina high school. Applicant must rank first in his or her secondary school class and have a minimum combined SAT I score of 1150.

University Scholars Scholarship
